This cartoon was so sad but very true. Because the woman was gay she was not allowed to marry her girlfriend and therefore not allowed to let her girlfriend use her health insurance; so she died. The last line "I would have saved her if I could" was the most disturbing because it is true. This is the unfortunate truth of today's society because in many states gays marriage is not a1lowed. This is wrong and should be changed; they are people just like us and should be treated equally.
What a sad story. I think it was Megan who posted another very convincing argument for gay marriage on her blog. It mentioned some of the high profile people who have been in the news for some very "anti-family" behaviour like Charlie Sheen and Tiger Woods. Yet, gay people who love each other can't get legally married in many states including our own because their unions are supposedly "anti-family."
